Club amLeague - January 19, 2017
Paris, January 19, 2017 – amLeague gathered its members’ management companies and large investors who support its action, in the premises of La Française Group.
Participants were welcomed by Patrick Rivière, C.E.O. La Française Group, who recalled 2016 highlights in pictures.
The Club was gathered to discuss four main issues: climate reporting, amLeague platform’s use by active managers, funds’ multifactorial analysis and amLeague_Euro 45 index.
Florent Combes, Risk Management and Compliance at GARANCE (ex-MNRA) presented the climate reporting approach adopted by his group within the framework of art.
173 of the Law on Energy Transition. GARANCE approach has been rewarded with the International Award on Investor Climate-related Disclosures (2° Invest Award).

Bruno Fine, President and Founder of Roche-Brune AM, shared his experience on amleague platform used as a research tool in order to extract the most relevant
alpha of his asset management and encapsulating it in other investment products.
|
François Chauvet, C.E.O. APTimum showed how FUNDCLASS enables to determine the complete risk profile of European funds and to classify them in homogeneous groups.
|
Antoine Briant, C.E.O. amLeague has then demonstrated that the selection of active managers on amLeague platform can lead to value creation.
amLeague_Euro 45 © index, which relies on a selection of the best alpha producers without deviating significantly from the Benchmark, clearly seeks
to beat Euro Stoxx 50. Since its creation on 5 October 2010, it has seen growth of +71.36%, versus +44.63% for the Euro Stoxx 50 NR index.
Patrick Rivière has then announced a strategic partnership between La Française and amLeague with the fund management and distribution of the investment
strategy aiming to outperform the Euro Stoxx 50 index by replicating its amLeague_Euro 45 index. « Customers are seeking innovative investment solutions,
and we are convinced of the value of transforming amLeague’s research into buyable products. Our common objective will be to generate alpha by replicating
the amLeague_Euro 45 index and to provide an effective and differentiating investment solution to institutional investors».
